This is an intro to OnShape for those that are looking to get in to 3D design for the first time. This will be a slower paced class focusing on the absolute basics.
In this class, we will go over:
– How to navigate the 3D space
– How to create a sketch
– How to create parameters
– How to create solids from the sketch
– How to export your designs for 3D printing or laser cutting
OnShape is a fast powerful browser based 3D design software. I have ran it successfully on Windows, Mac and Linux. Bring your laptop. If you don’t have one,, let us know so we can provide one to borrow.
Before the class, sign up at https://www.OnShape.com and request a free hobby account. Sign up to try the pro version, then click on the hobby account.
Limit 6 people. Ages 8+. This is an in-person make and take event. Masks required!
