Learn how to safely use a sewing machine and associated tools, become comfortable with tools of the trade and what items to purchase, learn how to sew a variety of stitches, and troubleshoot mistakes. We will be making a pin cushion as our first project.

NOTE: You will need to bring a WORKING sewing machine to class. We will have some supplies to share but please bring the following supplies if you have them: owners manual, pins with pin cushion, hand needles, spare sewing machine needles, seam ripper, tape measure, fabric scissors, small scissors, and needle threader.

This class will be the beginning of a 3 class series. Take this one or all three! We will build upon ideas each class and do more complex projects as we go.

***This class is $15 for Confluent Members, $25 for non members and is appropriate for ages 12+. This class is limited to 6 attendees. Priority will be given to those who pay in advance to reserve a seat.***
